Will finger nails that have been bitten back into the bed of the nail fully recover if allowed to regrow?

I think they can if you leave them alone.Biting your nails is a horrible habit to have.Germs collect under the finger nails and then when you bite them your putting them in your mouth.Nails don't look good when there bitten.They have products at the drug store or Walmart that you can use on your nails to help from biting them.Hope this helps.
