I've Tried Finger Nail Polish Remover.

Did the nail polish remover have acetone in it? It needs acetone to work on fabrics. It is safe for most, but not for acetate (which is kind of an uncommon fabric anyway) and maybe on polyester...can't remember for sure. After the polish remover, re-wash your clothes but don't dry them - heat could set it in.
you won't be able to get nail polish out of clothes, I tried everything but it only bleached my clothes and lightened the polish.
You must use gasoline.. That removes everything..
Soak it in gasoline, and heat dry it with a hairdryer.

Can a bird die by eating finger nail polish?
I was holding my parakeet a few minutes after I painted my nails (when it was dry but still soft) and it bit down on my nail and left a little mark like it had eaten some of the polish...What affects could it have on the bird?Can a bird die by eating finger nail polish?
Yes, even the scent of nail polish is highly toxic to birds. If a large dose is taken into the body, there is an extremely high chance the bird will die. The bird is very little, making chances riskier, BUT I think that the bird will be just fine because it was not a large dose. It may get a little affected during digestion, but the bird should be ok. Sorry for alarming you, but I just wanted to let you know that it is possible because birds are very susceptible even to the fumes of nailpolish.
I suggest that if any behavior changes/worsens that you need to take the bird to the vet.

It may get a bit worse before it gets better. Unless it gets extremely more painful, or becomes more swollen than it is, no doctor is necessary.
I did this with my house door. I live in south florida where the doors need to be metal for obvious reasons. It happened two weeks ago. My fingernail did the same thing. Don't worry about it. Simply go to your doctor. They take a small needle and spin it on the nail almost like starting a fire. There is no pain for that part in case you have a fear of needles. If you have any questions email me I only say this cause I flip out when I get scared from needles or something and I like to ask questions.

put on a clear coat over the top... there is also a product to put on before you paint your nails which helps it last longer. don't buff your nails before you put on polish because that makes it come off faster. OPI is a good brand to use!

First take the thin grit side and file your nail good, then use the polish side until your nail is shiny. Then wash your hands. Do one layer of nail polish, then a second and finally use a good clear coat and make sure you let them dry completely. Works every time.

One I'm wearing now is called ';Don't Wine - Yukon Do It';. It is a darker shade of red for fall..(j.i.c. you were wondering - yes, I am a c/d - t/v and my toe nails are always ';done 365'; my long finger nails are done less fequently due to what society says must be).
But your better nail polish companies will once again give us a gorgeous shade selection to choose from shortly.

Change the band aid after 5 hrs. Before going to bed, when putting on new band aid, loosen it a little so it'll breath then wrap a gauze over the band aid.

On the tile surface you can scrape it off with a fingernail or a Popsicle stick. If it ran onto the grout you might need to get a grout saw (looks like single edge razor blade with a coating of carbide on its cutting edge - about $2). You can scrape the surface of the grout with that. Should I take my finger nail off or keep it on?
Today I got acrylic nails put on; I ended up hitting my pinky finger on something and now almost the entire nail, including my own nail, is coming off. I have a band aid on it now, but I don't know if I should keep the nail on and see if it grows back/falls off or just take it completely off.Should I take my finger nail off or keep it on?
I am a nail tech and have seen this before. Wrap your finger tip in gause (sp?) or a large band aid for a day or two. When it isnt so sore, clip back the artificial nail so it cant get caught on anything and put a bandaide around the nail holding it down so it wont catch on anything. Slowly keep clipping it back until it isnt getting caught on things.
Dont bother trying to take the nail off. Keep it short and let it heal on its own. Clip the nail back as it gets out where it could snag on something. Just do this as it grows out. It will be okay. u can keep the artificial nails on on the other nails and leave this one to heal.

the reason for this question is i was listening to mark and brian and they were talking about the middle finger and how the nail grows faster on that finger than the others, i would like to know why.I just want to know why the middle finger nail grows faster than the other fingers?
