theres a chance it could be poisened or infected. just see your doc and get hold of some antibiotics.
itc ould also be badly bruised. have you closed it in a door or hurt it recently?
if you have you can get a discolouration, your nail may then come loose and fall off. this is natural and within a few weeks the nail will grow back, no problem. just try and keep it clean

why are you asking on here? just as easy to go to a chemist and get something and you could have got it treated and sorted. good luck!
GO seek medical attention. You may have fungus/an infection. Get it treated before it gets worse or inflammatory.
