Don't stress out your eyes and just rest them, put some eye drops and it will heal, just like a cut on your skin. but if it starts becoming infected, really red eye. then go to a doctor. i actually scratched my eye with a post it note when i ripped it off the pad and it was better the next day. i dont know how severe your scratch is so if it doesnt feel better soon, get some medical help.I also scratched my eye with my finger nail, i have a red mark, my eye hurts and irritating. what do I do?

I dropped a book on my one of my fingers and a day later i noticed there was a little puss under it. I wear fake nails so i went and took that it off and noticed that i cracked my nail. If the crack is in the middle of the nail and it cannot be cut away get some super glue to hold the nail together until the nail can grow out and the crack goes away. Once your nail has fully grown out and there is no more crack/break, you should be able to put the fake nails back on.

um it depends on you skin color and your personality.
if you have a light tone for you skin,generally darker colors would be great looking. like relatively dark pinks.
if you have a medium tone, then maybe greens or blues purples, etc. light or dark.
and if you have a dark skin tone, then light colors look awesome! they really stand out.

I broke the lid to it adidn'tdnt not realize that it was broke so I pdish washinging liquid on the bottle because the bottle was sorta of greasy anddidn'tdnt realize the lid was cracked and I got soap in the bottle and had to throw it away. I also used vinegar it helped some . But I have read that eventually the toenail fungus will come back . Now Im on a prescription to help get rid of it. The nail fungus is very contagious and you can get it on your toenails. I have it on 4 toes on my right foot and two on my left . This has been very painful and it has mad my toenails deformed and the Dr said that it will always be like that. I got mine from having pedicures done . They used the same nail clippers on each customer with out sterlizing then first and after they used the foot bath bowl they didn't sanitizeize it after using on a customer before me . So take caution . Make sure if you trim your nails to use bleach on the nail clippers and then rinse them and leave them out to air dry . Always wash your hands this will spread to other finger nails and on to your other hand. and to your feet and other people can get it also

If it is the size of a finger nail you definately want to feed it appropriately sized food. Never feed a frog anything larger than the width of its mouth. That means, with a frog the size of a finger nail, I would feed it fruit flies and pinhead crickets. Both of these are fairly easy to obtain. And they are not very expensive. so; I cut my nails yesterday. On my left hand I cut my nail a bit short. Today I tried to open a soda can and my nail got the force of it; it unattached the skin on the tip (under my nail) from the nail. it really hurts, what can I do about it?Problem with my left hang index finger nail?

Make sure you keep your hands clean to prevent infection, try not to use the finger with the bad nail and cover it if you need to. You can also go to the closest Pharmacy to you and talk to a Pharmacist on regards to what you can do to prevent infection.

I would'nt try that route. There is a foot exfoliator that you can buy at Wal mart or K mart, or wherever..called ';bare foot'; by Freeman. It has plum %26amp; pumice(which is what you need for calices. It works really well. It all depends what type of finish is on your guitar. I would NOT use nail polish remover (acetone) without testing it first because there is a good chance it will also dissolve your guitar finish. You could test it in an un-noticeable spot. Do you have a screw-in strap peg? You could unscrew it and try a tiny dab on the finish under there.
If you have a steady hand, the safest way is to use a scraper made out of a piece of glass. A single edge razor blade could also work. Mask off the area you are working on. Hold the scraper blade at a 90 degree angle to the polish and carefully and slowly scrape it away. When you have it pretty close to the guitar finish, you can buff it out with some polishing compound or even white toothpaste.
If this is a valuable guitar, it might be best to trust it to a luthier. Otherwise, do your best and chalk it up to mojo....or over-paint the stain and make a design.Removing finger nail polish on guitar?

dip ur fingers in a strong disenfectant and them nailbrush them, the smelly bacteria may be in the tiny creases of ur skin, always rinse afta and i suggest you use a differnt brand of loo roll in future

Clip the tips (length) down as far as you need. Get some pure acetone from any store that sells regular polish remover. Take some aluminum foil cut into squares, and some cotton balls.
Wet the cotton ball with acetone, lay it on the nail and cover with the foil, as tight as possible. Repeat all 10 nails or one hand at a time. Do not peek or open the foil for at least 20 minutes, then one at a time, remove the foils and with a wood pusher - orange wood stick- scrape the acrylic off.. it should come right off.. you can repeat if some traces are left. If you peek, the acrylic will start to harden immediately, so it's best to be patient :)
When you get it all off make sure you give your self a healthy dose of some good hand cream as the acetone is very drying to the surrounding skin.

The best way to stop biting them I have found is to think about the fact that if you have any type of infected dirt under your nails you could end up with pinworms, which you don't want trust me. My daughter had the same problem until this happened to her, once you have pinworms and have to take about 12 pills, you'll not want to chew on them again. (pinworms-small worms in the intestinal cavity that will cause dicomfort or visual in bowel movements or at night while sleeping with a itching in the anal area.)

It is the thumb nail.Finger nail looks like its dying and turning dark. what to use?
I had the same thing twice,but the first time it happened (i hit my finger pretty hard) my finger nail turned dark blue and a bit green and it really hurt when i touched it,but it got better after a few weeks (it was just a bruise).The second time i hit my toe nail even harder and had some blood, the nail fell of after a few days even though i tried not to touch it. But a new one grew back pretty fast, two weeks time. Now if its one of these cases then dont be afraid its not that big of a deal, but if you didnt hit you finger somewhere it might me an infection, my suggestion go to the doctor and get it checked.Good luck!Finger nail looks like its dying and turning dark. what to use?

hm..i think you'd have to continuously keep re-coating. I know people who put duct tape on them (i know that is not possible in this case) but the whole reason it works is because there is no air getting to it.
It may take several weeks and a lot of re-coating but i think it may work..get clear of course..haha.
No, plus it's toxic. If you go to the drugstore you can get some stuff to put on it that freezes it. You have to freeze it. It won't scar your nose. FREEZE THE WART

gross...theres no painless way out...soak your hand in water for awhile (soften it up as much as possible) cut it as close as you can...peroxide it and use a band aid...
try and cut it off with nail clippers or small scissors. You may have to rip part of it. Clean it really well and keep it covered. It's gonna hurt for a while.
Try either get some scissors n cut it down or file it then put hand creme on.

I would leave it for a few days and put plaster on it just so it doesnt get in the way of you doing things and you rip it even further. In a few days the pain should settle down and then you can try soaking it and softening it to try and cut it off little by little. Good luck.

You have just cut yourself with a dirty knife. I'd say the chances of it turning septic on you are about 100%. Put the knife down and go and wash your hands really well. Then put some antiseptic cream on your finger, (eg. Germoline or Savlon) then put an Elastoplast on it. Check it again in the morning when your head feels better, and if it doesn't look yellow and pus-y, do the whole cream and plaster routine again. If it's looking a funny colour, trot along to your family doctor, you may need antibiotics.

I almost lost my thumb nail a few weeks ago, it snapped really far down about 5mm on each side, I put a plaster around it and left it for a few days, healed pretty quickely. I'd clean it well and bandage it up. If it's snapped comepletely I'd do the same, though I'm no expert.

Why dark lines on finger nail plate?

Can I Pull My Finger Nail off now?
The last Friday during spring break my little finger (pinky) got slammed in to a Volkswagen trunk. Ouch!!!! It turned black and hurt for days. Now 2 days ago I noticed it was coming off. I can literally lift it up a little and see under it. The only skin thats holding it is on one side. Like the spine of a book. Can I just yank it off or wait for a doctor.Can I Pull My Finger Nail off now?

Don't yank it. That will tear it, and make things worse.
If you can raise it a little, you should soak it in some warm water (as warm as you can stand it) with betadine solution (similar to iodine) for a few minutes several times a day. Use about 1 part betadine to 6 parts water. It stains, so don't splash it - and soak it on a surface that can either be stained or cleaned. You can get the betadine at a pharmacy.
Once the fingernail can be lifted off, you can use a sterile scissors or clipper to remove the extra nail material so it doesn't get stuck on something. Clean it thoroughly, put some neosporin on it and cover with a bandage. Continue to clean it and re-bandage it a few times a day until the nail bed has grown new skin and is healed.
You can also go to your clinic and either have your doctor do it, or even a nurse will be able to do it for you. (remove the nail)
